District 5: Bob Wilkinson

Working with the cooperative since 1986, Bob Wilkinson says that he wears a lot of hats helping meet our members’ agriculture product and service needs.

“As a district sales manager I do a little of everything—field scouting, fertilizer dispatch, machinery and equipment, and petroleum sales,” Bob says.

Growing up in the area, he says that many of our members have been his friends for years. He appreciates the way United Farmers Cooperative is able to provide these farmers in his community with the best products and services that they need for their operations.

“We are able to be involved in every aspect of their operation—helping them with their nutrient plan, putting up grain bins, or upgrading their grain handling equipment, seed and crop protection products—every aspect,” Bob remarks.

Actively involved in his community, Bob plays volleyball on a community team year round, is a member of the Soybean Growers and on the agriculture advisory board for Mankato Vocational Technical College.
