UFC Farm Supply Stores: Covid-19 Changes Effective Monday

Apr 03, 2020

As Covid-19 continues to spread throughout the state, we are taking extra, precautionary measures to ensure the safety of customers and employees and also to prevent the spread of the virus. Effective Monday, we will be limiting the number of customers in our Maple Plain and Waconia UFC Farm Supply stores. Ten customers at one time will be allowed into our Maple Plain store, and twenty customers will be allowed into our Waconia store. Upon arriving at our store, an employee will greet you at the door and notify you when you’re able to enter. While you are shopping with us, you will notice a number of other precautionary safety measures we are taking:
  • We have installed plexiglass barriers into all of our checkout lanes
  • Card scanners have been updated to self-service
  • We are requiring all of our staff members to wear rubber gloves
In addition, we have assigned designated employees who are focusing solely on the cleaning and disinfecting of our stores.
While this is certainly unprecedented, based on our assessment of the current situation we are confident this is the best way to protect the health and safety of our customers and employees. While you are shopping with us, we also remind you to practice social distancing by keeping at minimum six feet between yourself and others. To serve as a friendly reminder, we have added tape markings on our store floors to help guide you.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will continue to monitor the situation and move forward with options that will allow us to continue serving our customers’ needs.
Be well.
Mitch Altermatt
General Manager/CEO
